Worship Wednesdays #7 - What I'm Listening to Now

Today's Worship Wednesday post is a little bit different! 

Lately, my heart has been so focused on praying and worshiping for revival in our homes, families, and communities. 

Because of that, I am being drawn to music that declares the miraculous power of God. I believe that if we all worship together and truly believe the words of the songs that we sing, we can see real, life-transforming revival today.

The Soul of Worship Ministry is thrilled to announce that our next MAKE A SOUND Worship & Prayer Rally is right around the corner on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2020!

Wait...didn't you just have a rally?

Why, yes we did!

Together with local churches, families, and friends we gathered to worship and pray to God to revive our communities with love, peace, and unity on September 26, 2020!

Our mission is to empower this generation to release an authentic sound of worship that moves mountains and brings Heaven down! 

But we know this isn't just a one and done thing. This is not simply something we wanted to check off of our to-do list.

THIS IS A WORSHIP & PRAYER MOVEMENT that God wants us to continue to work and release into our community.

Watch the beautiful outpouring of the Holy Spirit that we experienced just last week! Every time I see these pictures and video, I can feel the overwhelmingly beautiful presence of God all over again!

In preparation for the WORSHIP: Are You Making a Sound? book release, TBN has created a 30 second commercial which will air soon on Hillsong Channel! 

How amazing is God?!

Picture this: a young woman from a small church in Pennsylvania was moved to write a Bible study book in the middle of her busiest season of life (raising two kids and excelling at a demanding corporate career). 

Now, this young woman, still juggling the demands of her career, motherhood, and a global pandemic, is one of TBN's newest authors and that book she wrote years ago has a TV COMMERCIAL. 

That young woman is me! 

I don't say this to boast about me, but to BOAST ABOUT GOD! 

HALLELUJAH! 

Only God could do this. Only God could give me the strength during these demanding seasons. Only God could open these doors.

The mission that God has blazoned on my heart is to empower a generation to release an authentic sound of worship that moves mountains and brings Heaven down.

When our feelings, worries, and concerns try to cause us to doubt God's ability to perform, we must turn our hearts to worship.

When we worship, we align ourselves with the truth found in His word. True worship is the process of coming into agreement with His character, His abilities, and our position as believers of Jesus Christ.

Despite our circumstances, we must tell the world what Jesus said in John 4:22, "We know what we worship."

This verse is such a wonderful reminder that praise and worship through song has the power to deliver us from our troubles.

A little worship and praise inspiration from the work of my 6 year old and some fresh cut flowers from our garden.

Unlike the flowers which will soon fade and pass away, the Word of God will never pass away.

It remains true and powerful forever.

With increased time at home and for the foreseeable future, I am trying to take advantage of this opportunity and be more intentional about the seeds I am planting in our children.

Seeds of hope.

Seeds of love.

Seeds of peace.

Seeds of praise.

Seeds of value.

Seeds of salvation.

Seeds of everlasting truth.
