When our feelings, worries, and concerns try to cause us to doubt God's ability to perform, we must turn our hearts to worship.

When we worship, we align ourselves with the truth found in His word. True worship is the process of coming into agreement with His character, His abilities, and our position as believers of Jesus Christ.

Despite our circumstances, we must tell the world what Jesus said in John 4:22, "We know what we worship."

Worship Wednesdays # 5 - Praising with a Two-Edged Sword in Hand!

When I first read these verses earlier today in Psalm 149, I was struck with their power! I am so passionate about worship and praise being chief among the spiritual weapons that God has given His believers, so I get so excited when I find even more Scriptures to back it up.

Psalm 32:7 says, “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble;

This verse is such a wonderful reminder that praise and worship through song has the power to deliver us from our troubles.

Worship Wednesdays #1 - Wait on the Lord

There are many scriptures that remind us and encourage us to wait on the perfect timing of the LORD. We often want answers to our prayers, as my father would say, "in a microwave-minute." 

But God is too kind and cares too much about you to give you something that won't be beneficial to you in the long-run or give you something that you are not ready to receive. 

Let this be your reminder that God is never too early or too late....
