Don't miss the connection ⚔️

Sep 09, 2021

After Moses and the Israelites crossed over the Red Sea, they worshiped the LORD with a new song:

'Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord , and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the Lord , For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea. The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone. “Your right hand, O Lord , has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord , has dashed the enemy in pieces.'

Exodus 15:1-6

The presence of God was with the people of Israel and in His presence the army of the enemy was completely demolished. Cast into the sea and drowned at the bottom like a stone.

Moses releases a song of praise to God for His saving presence, rescue, protection, and for the establishment of His people.

Please don't miss the connection between our worship and spiritual strength!

Moses said, The LORD is my strength and my song!

King David also said in Psalm 18:3:

"I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies."

The Scriptures give us evidence over and over again that we fight our battles through maintaining a posture of praise.

So let out a "hallelujah" today instead of a complaint and take the opportunity to confuse the enemy.

When the enemy throws fiery darts at us, he is expecting us to get frustrated, distracted, and discouraged.

He expected the Israelite army to feel trapped and scared.

The enemy didn’t realize that the God of Deliverance already had a plan.

They needed only to stand and watch as God would work the miracle.

So today, don't give the enemy what he wants.

Don’t get frustrated, distracted, or discouraged.

Don’t give up.

Praise God anyway.

He is enthroned in the midst of your worship.

The enemy’s plans against you will disintegrate in the glory of the presence of God.

For the LORD is your strength, your song, and your salvation.

Keep Making a Sound,

Sara-Marie
